Intermediary Care Facilities - Mentally Retarded (ICF-MR)

Southern Concepts, owns and operates six community based group homes for developmentally disabled adults. These homes offer a warm family-like environment, while providing quality training services. Our goal is to facilitate the integration of our individuals into the local community.

Admission to the group home requires a primary diagnosis of mental retardation or an approved related condition. These homes are certified as Intermediary Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded (ICF-MR). Funding is provided by state and federal funds through Medicaid. Southern Concepts Incorporated's small family homes are located in Hood and Tarrant counties of Texas.

Our Survey results!

We are proud of the work we do! Our facilities consistently do very well during the survey process. But what do the individual deficiencies really mean? What is a life safety code violation?
